exam was tough specially quant part was so time consuming.But as there was no negative marking i can expect cut off to be somewhere around 85/150,excluding the descriptive exam.

The reasoning and English sections were easy and the General awareness and quant were tough.
So the likely cut offs could be -
Reasoning = 28
English = 20
General Awareness = 8
Quant = 10
Overall cut off could be 98-105 out of 150 and 120 out of 200 for general candidate.

I did good in written & interview too. But in the final list my name was not appeared.
Exam was overall little bit tough.

Numerical Ability was time consuming…
I was giving this exam first time.. and there were no information about negative marking… not in call letter and not in exam booklet so i think there was no negative marking n so i attempt all..

I think there should not be any negative marking because they did not mentioned about this in Recruitment Advt. and not in Call letter and even not in Exam booklet. If negative marking is there then my experience says that they atleast mentioned it in Exam booklet. But there was not.

I appeared for Group B – IT Category(AO) post, exam was average to above average level, it was not so easy because of time management, it was good standard paper set for IT section questions, reasoning was easy, english was easy, Gk, quant were reasonable. I hope for general category cut off would be 100, OBC may be 80 -95, sc/st category may be 70 AND ABOVE, this is as per my survey from previous examinees who took this exam. i am sorry there was no GK for Group B-IT CATEGORY. Rest all you can take consideration of my comments can be taken, descriptive paper also plays key role as per my knowledge as this post requires good written and verbal skills.

After having read your comments and suggestions given above, i honestly assumed that you people are serious candidates of the various competitive exams of the national level and am confident that you will surely reap it what you have sowed. Additionally, i want to draw a serious attention from all of you to consider about the Date of Exams for Assistant provident Fund commissioner (UPSC) and ACIO II, IB (MHA) which is found to be collided on the same day ie. 23rd septembe, 2012. I,being a serious candidate as you are, personally feel that these two important exams, which is not conducted on yearly basis, being collided is not fair at all. Therefore, i request all of you to do your bit to pressurize the UPSC and MHA to reconsider their decision of holding the exams on the same day.

But UPSC has already its estimation, and it had announced the date first. MHA is the responsibe for this coincedance. All insurance companies(Oriental, National, united India, Agriculture) released AO notifications at same time.
Oriental Insurance had taken nearly 70 days to announce the results and National Insurance also took more than 70 days. We can expect same from United India (almost 60 days completed, hope within 10 days UIIC will announce the results).
And worried thing is New India Assurance not releasing the AO notification for this year.

Nobody knws the truth everyone is just doing guess work, cut off for generlist GEN-84, OBC-75, SC-74, ST-71, For discipline wise cut off check uiic recruitment section. Paper-II was only qualifying type & his marks wil nt b included in merit list.

Even the final merit list cut off would nt exceed 75 as the merit prprtn ratio wil b 75:25, it means that 75% of written and 25% of interview.

Hi guys.. First of all congratulations to all d selected candidates in specialist cadre.
Now as far as generalist result is concerned, most probably it will b declared in dis week only as UIIC is already lagging behind their stipulated training & development for direct AO recruits so they are bound to publish results as soon as possible. If i get any info regarding results i will let u know guys.

even today i called but didnt get a convincing reply. they just say if 2nd list is there it will be published in the site but not saying for sure if its there or not.. medicals over on 15th but till now they havent come out with 2nd list.. moreover this week is full of holidays. will they publish 2nd list so late??

i too wish there’s a waiting list but for specialists it was announced in 2 days after medicals but till now they havent come out with one for generalists. .
has the joining date fixed for generalists?
Joining date has been fixed between 29 Oct to 9 Nov but no one has received final appointment order…i m also waiting for that to come…so second list might come after 10 th of November..
Specialist waiting list came early because they had there training scheduled from 8 oct and generalist training schedule is not yet fixed we just got our posting places and nothing is said about our training. Don’t worry watining will definately come.

Joining date for generalists is between 29 Oct to 9 Nov…now it seems that there would be no second list as uiic is already running behind the schedule…

Hey ab do not worry company has rejected none of the candidates..i had spoken to Chennai..they had told me that they have dispatched letters to everyone…so chillll.. U will get it in a couple of days.. There are time in joining..

Hi Monika..there could be a waiting list after 15th Nov when everyone has joined and the joining report reaches to ho Chennai..if seats remain unfulfilled then there might be a waiting list after that…

1st list got their training schedule i dont think there’l be a 2nd list. i called hr dept the guy started yelling at me and said ther’s no such list n hung. what more else to do
2nd list was a myth :’( ??????????????/

only 7 to 8 people have not joined it seems they too have asked for time.. if at all if they didnt join they r planning to sum it up with next years recruitment. this was the news collected from an internal source. but just c till this saturday if any miracle happens it will happen by this week. and guys what other exams u people planning. right now i’ve not applied for anything

a guy has mentioned so in pagalguy.. i cant say if its reliable but i personally believe that around 10 would have not joined. even for RTI they r saying all details will b available in website very soon..

m from obc cat. my written score is 85 and my int is very poor 12. i dont know y they have given such low marks. cant digest. The thing is they have mentioned that max marks out of 150 in obc is 83.. I have scored 85 what have they uploaded i dont know
