TNPSC plans to go hi-tech to plug loopholes: Encrypted, computer-based question paper system coming
Stung by the question paper leak that led to the cancellation of the Group-II Services examination, the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has decided to introduce encrypted and computer-based question paper system. The move is expected to do away with manually printed question papers in a phased manner. Tenders would be floated shortly to finalise the company that specialises in the concept of online/system-based question papers, TNPSC sources said on Wednesday.
To start with, the commission would employ cloud technology and load encrypted question papers that can be accessed by examination centres a couple of hours before the scheduled examination. Question papers would be printed on-the-site and given to the candidates. “This will be a fail-safe system which we will be introducing in one of the examinations shortly. The encrypted question papers would be uploaded a couple of hours ahead of the examination and all centres will have a printing mechanism,” TNPSC Chairman R. Nataraj told ‘The Hindu’ on Wednesday.
He said the commission also had plans to introduce online question paper system. Though the technology was available, the availability of resources had to be assessed considering the large number of candidates appearing for TNPSC examinations.
In another development, the TNPSC would introduce computer-based tests to a select few examinations. In the proposed system, candidates would be able to access the question paper on computer screens installed in the examination hall, the sources said

Please go through it.
1. Who are eligible under Destitute Widow category ?
A widow whose total monthly income is Rs.4000/-( Rupees four thousand only)
including:
i. Family pension
ii. Income from private practice
in the case of professionals .
iii. Other receipts.
2. I am a Destitute Widow. From whom should I get the Destitute Widow certificate?
i. Revenue Divisional Officer (or)
ii. Assistant Collector (or)
iii. Sub Collector
3. I am a Divorcee. Whether I am eligible to apply under the Destitute Widow category?
No.
4. I am a Destitute Widow. What is the percentage of reservation available to me under the Destitute Widow category?

Hi Madam, For every reservation there is cut off marks. For Woman BC candidates, seperate cut off marks. And for BC PSTM Women seperate cut off marks. Tnpsc will publish the cut off marks for JA in Grp 4 in this week along with counselling details. So you can know your reservation under which you can come.

Yes, reservations applicable for Ex-service men, but not for their heirs. but cut off marks are comparatively less, if you are coming under handicape category.

Rupi, I heard list of dept allotted typist candidates not sent to concerned departs from TNPSC and by next week only this will happen. Then concerned department directorate or collectorate will finalise candidates on locationwise. So May be in the first week of January, Typist candidates can expect orders either all at once or may be on rank basis vacancies will distributed.

If there is any 2nd list, your place is confirmed without any doubt. But the doubt is , is there any 2nd counselling. There may a chance of skip these unfilled vacancies to the next year gr 4 exam at May 2013. thats the only problem for you.

Hai Friends! Anyone got Group IV Typist Order
Enaku inum varala. Enaku therinju yarukum inum varala.
I got the letter from TNPSC for group IV typist, But i did not go for the job because I did not have tamil type writing certificate. My mark was 193. The cut off was 197 for BC general, I did not get the call letter during the Ist list, I got in the second list. Hope this information helps.

சென்னை: பள்ளி கல்வித்துறையில், 554 இளநிலை உதவியாளர்களை, பணி நியமனம் செய்வதற்கான கலந்தாய்வு, நாளை, அந்தந்த மாவட்ட தலை நகரங்களில் நடக்கின்றன.
கடந்த, 2007-08 முதல், 12-13ம் ஆண்டு வரை, குரூப்-4 நிலையில், பள்ளி கல்வித்துறைக்கு, ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்ட, 554 இளநிலை உதவியாளர்களை, சமீபத்தில், டி.என்.பி.எஸ்.சி., தேர்வு செய்து, தேர்வர்களின் பட்டியலை கல்வித்துறையிடம் ஒப்படைத்தது.
இதைத் தொடர்ந்து, அவர்களை பணி நியமனம் செய்வதற்கான கலந்தாய்வு, நாளை, அந்தந்த மாவட்ட தலைநகரங்களில் உள்ள முதன்மைக் கல்வி அலுவலகத்தில், “ஆன்-லைன்” வழியில் நடக்கிறது.
தேர்வு பெற்றவர்கள் அனைவரும், தங்களது இருப்பிட முகவரி அமைந்துள்ள மாவட்ட முதன்மைக் கல்வி அலுவலகத்திற்கு, நாளை காலை, 9:00 மணிக்கு நேரில் ஆஜராக வேண்டும் என, பள்ளிக்கல்வி இயக்குனர் தேவராஜன் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
மாவட்டங்களில் உள்ள காலி பணியிடங்களை நிரப்புவதற்கான கலந்தாய்வு காலையிலும், மாவட்டம் விட்டு, வேறு மாவட்டத்தில் பணி நியமனம் பெறுவதற்கான கலந்தாய்வு, பிற்பகலிலும் நடக்கும் என, அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
பணி ஒதுக்கீட்டு ஆணைகளை, அந்தந்த மாவட்ட முதன்மைக் கல்வி அலுவலர்களும், பணி நியமன ஆணைகளை, மாவட்ட கல்வி அலுவலர்களும் வழங்குவர். ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை, மருத்துவ சான்றிதழை பெற்று, திங்கள்கிழமை, அனைவரும் பணியில் சேரலாம் என, கல்வித்துறை தெரிவித்தது.

குரூப் 4 டைபிஸ்ட்/ஸ்டெனோவுக்கு வரும் 26.02.2013 அன்று கவுன்சிலிங் நடைபெறுவதாக டி.என்.பி.எஸ்.ஸி அறிவித்து இருக்கு. ஆனால் 2-வது லிஸ்ட் வெளியிடல. முதல்ல வெளியிட்ட அதாவது 08.10.2012 அன்று வெளியிட்ட லிஸ்ட்லேர்ந்துதான் கவுன்சிலிங்குக்கு கூப்பிடுறாங்க. இது ஒன்னும் எனக்கு புரியலேயே, யாராவது விளக்கம் தெரிந்தால் கொஞ்சம் சொல்லுங்களே.
My friends also got this counselling letter. They contact the TNPSC toll free num. They said there is no vacant right now which department/place you have choose. So you must atten the re-counselling and choose the other department/place.

குரூப் 4 தட்டச்சர் முந்தைய கலந்தாய்வில் பஃகேற்காதவர்கள் மீண்டும் கலந்தாய்வில் பஃகேற்பதற்கான இரண்டாவதாக தரப்படுகிற வாய்ப்பாக இருக்கலாம்.
Hi all,
Any one got selected in the Group 4, 2nd list. I didn’t, my mark is 220.5 and the BC General Cutoff is 222.
I don’t know what is the reason behind this, because there was around 2000 postings need to be filled.
If someone can please clarify my doubt.

Sorry guys, I didn’t checked up properly, I got selected in Group 4, 2nd list. First time i checked in the Reserve list in stead of Main list. That’s the problem.

tnpsc group 4 result of 4th phase is possible or not ? i am bc female canditate. i scured 195 maerks out off 300 .is there any possiblity to select me for junior assistant in 4th phase ?
There is sure chance for a couple more phases for group 4 but the cut off will probably end at 210/300 marks for bc female, since the marks getting lower the number of persons secured the particular mark increases to the peak. For example, there are around 1500-1600 persons securing the same mark 211.5. So, a wise thing for you is to concentrate on the next exam. All the best.
